A new travel companion: The new Paris Aéroport website
The guiding principle behind the new Paris Aéroport website, which launched on March 5, is to assist passengers and respond to their concerns. The service aims to revolutionize the customer experience by offering custom-tailored support for every passenger navigating the airport. Personalized, real-time information along with notifications via WhatsApp are among the new features designed to ensure a smooth, serene journey.
A world first: an eVTOL lifts off from the gardens of the Palace of Versailles
Groupe ADP is a pioneer in developing new forms of carbon-free mobility by air. After several years of testing, an eVTOL – an electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft – flew over Versailles’s Grand Trianon on a Sunday in August 2024. The flight offered a demonstration of the aircraft's agility: it can take off and land even in sensitive environments. It’s a major asset for emergency and rescue operations.
The artificial intelligence revolution is underway
Groupe ADP is capitalizing on breakthroughs in artificial intelligence: tests are being conducted to help employees interact with hearing-impaired passengers using sign language. Meanwhile, generative AI technology could soon help passengers manage unforeseen circumstances in their journey, while airport employees are already making use of a virtual assistant known as ChatADP.
Outsight's LiDAR at Paris airports named an example of AI for Efficiency
The LiDAR app from Outsight, now in use at Paris airports, offers a more effective way to understand and analyze traveler flows in real time so airport personnel can respond appropriately and meet the airport’s commitment to its customers to manage their time wisely. The app was one of 1,000 winners in the AI for Efficiency call for projects launched during AI Action Week in Paris.
Airport Innovation Days in Paris, Turkey and Jordan
Airport Innovation Days was an event organized by Groupe ADP in Paris in partnership with TAV Airports in Turkey and Airport International Group (AIG) in Jordan. Nearly 150 start-ups submitted proposals across the three regions, and nine winners were selected by a local jury comprised of Groupe ADP employees and outside experts. The campaign’s aim was to generate solutions for enhancing the passenger experience, making greater use of digital technology, improving operational efficiency and decarbonizing operations.
