Employees working for their communities
Civic-minded action by our employees is one of the cornerstones of Groupe ADP. The company facilitates employee engagement through a variety of programs, including tutoring, humanitarian leave and community projects. In particular, Groupe ADP gives interested employees the opportunity to devote three work days each year to initiatives in their community. A record number of employees chose to take that option in 2024.
Groupe ADP’s in-house engagement: shared momentum
Since 2015, Groupe ADP's commitment has been channeled through a foundation that, since its inception, has invested €12.5 million in projects in the field of education (combating illiteracy, reducing school drop-out rates, etc.).
In addition, employees volunteer their efforts either during work hours or on their personal time on behalf of activities that support nonprofit organizations. In 2024, more than 4,000 employees were registered on the Group’s engagement platform, where they can choose community projects to join.

Engagement Month: A show of solidarity
The Group's teams share a commitment to action in the community.
Engagement Month, held every November, is a testament to that solidarity, and this year’s third annual event demonstrated renewed momentum: 664 projects completed, 560 participating employees and a total of 496 days of volunteer work on behalf of partner organizations.
Employees choose their community project based on their desires and aspirations. The topics that inspired the most employees during this year’s Engagement Month were the environment, biodiversity, responsible consumption and diets, social ties and the fight against poverty.
Over the course of 2024, Groupe ADP employees in Paris spent 1,700 days on civic engagement projects, compared to 1,178 days in 2023.

Donating items that cannot be brought on planes: a large-scale campaign alongside Restos du Coeur and Secours Populaire
One long-term campaign involves items that are prohibited in aircraft cabins. Groupe ADP has partnered with a number of charitable organizations to find a productive use for the thousands of products confiscated at the airport because they are banned in the cabin (such as liquids, aerosols and gels).
In 2023, the Group formed an initial partnership at Paris-Charles de Gaulle with Les Restos du Coeur to recover some of those items that have been donated by passengers. Approximately once a month, the organization collects donated items from boxes located at the passenger and baggage security checkpoints. A similar campaign is being conducted at Paris-Orly with Restos du Coeur and Secours Populaire.

The products most commonly donated are new health and beauty items. Items that must meet cold chain requirements are rejected and destroyed alongside products considered dangerous.
The partner organizations distribute the recovered products to the residents of 21 towns in France’s Val-de-Marne region and 11 municipalities in Val-d’Oise. Since June 2023, 21 tons of objects have been collected from 41 security checkpoint lanes at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly. In 2024, about 50 employees took part in five community projects to distribute the items collected.
Their job: to sort and inventory the recovered objects based on each item’s condition, and to repair some reusable objects and help package them so they can be hygienically transported.
