Hospitality: How our hubs achieve excellence

The Skytrax World Airport Awards 2024 ceremony, held on April 9, 2025, once again honored the airports that receive top marks from travelers, with Groupe ADP airports again receiving plaudits. These awards carry even greater weight given that Paris airports welcomed the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Groupe ADP airports in Paris and worldwide shine in these rankings, which offer a testament to the excellence of their hospitality.

The Skytrax World Airport Awards 2024 honor the Group's airports

Each year the World Airport Awards, presented by Skytrax, single out the world’s best airports based on votes cast by passengers worldwide. In the 2025 rankings, Paris-Charles de Gaulle was ranked “Best European Airport” for the fourth consecutive year and seventh among airports worldwide. The airport was ranked 95th in 2014 and has been rising in the rankings ever since. Terminal 3 was named “Best Low-Cost Airline Terminal” for the second year in a row.

Paris-Orly Airport was ranked 30th among the world’s top 100 airports, matching its success in 2024, after consistently rising in the rankings.

8 Groupe ADP airports
ranked among the world’s top 100 airports

In 2025, eight of the Group’s airports were among the top 100 in the world, two more than in 2024, thanks to the rise of Santiago and Ankara in the rankings:

  • Paris-Charles de Gaulle (France): 7th
  • Paris-Orly, France: 30th
  • Delhi, India: 32th
  • Medina, Saudi Arabia: 50th
  • Hyderabad, India: 56th
  • Goa, India: 80th
  • Santiago, Chile: 98th
  • Ankara, Turkey: 100th

In addition, Medina was voted “Best Regional Airport in the Middle East” for the second consecutive year, and Almaty was named “Best Regional Airport in Central Asia,” with its Terminal 2 voted “Best New Terminal in the World.” Goa was hailed as best airport among those with fewer than five million passengers.

Thus, Groupe ADP has achieved three of the objectives set out in our Pioneers 2025 roadmap: to see Paris-Charles de Gaulle cement its position among the Skytrax top 100 airports in the world and to have at least four airports in the Top 50 and eight in the Top 100.

Airports that are reinventing themselves to provide continuous improvement in service quality

"Paris-Charles de Gaulle, voted the best airport in Europe for the fourth consecutive year, is a huge source of pride! But beyond that honor, it is thanks to the daily commitment by our workforce and our ability to innovate and reinvent ourselves that Paris-Charles de Gaulle is able to continue meeting the expectations of our passengers. At Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Paris-Orly and every Groupe ADP airport – many of which have captured awards – we have all the resources to become a leader in hospitality."

Philippe Pascal,
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Groupe ADP

For Groupe ADP, obtaining and maintaining such honors requires a constant commitment: modernizing our infrastructure, optimizing airport journeys and continually innovating. The Skytrax World Airports Awards are a testament to the commitment and efforts made by the thousands of Groupe ADP employees to ensure we continue to meet passengers’ expectations, with five major objectives that marked 2024 and early 2025.

Shorter waiting times and a customized experience, thanks to the new Paris Aéroport website.

Launched in March 2025, the new Paris Aéroport website was designed and developed as the ideal travel companion for passengers. It includes all-new features that emphasize content tailored to each passenger’s journey. Designed for smartphones, the website allows passengers to access personalized information, in real time, simply by providing their flight number.

Continually improving our accommodation of people with disabilities.

Passengers at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly airports can rely on several new “mobility assistance” spaces, to offer support for the most vulnerable travelers throughout their journey. There, people can request assistance, or a  “sunflower lanyard” for those with invisible disabilities so they can be more easily identified at security checkpoints and other potentially stressful stops in their journey. In addition, Groupe ADP created eight changing rooms in 2024 (six at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and two at Paris-Orly).

Redesigned boarding areas in Terminal 2B at Paris-Charles de Gaulle

Following collaborations with Hugo Toro, Maxime Liautard and Dorothée Meilichzon, Extime partnered with Nathalie Craps in 2024 to renovate Paris-Charles de Gaulle’s Terminal 2B with an eye on design and comfort. Departing passengers find themselves plunged into the heart of Paris’s trendy Haut-Marais neighborhood, with areas reminiscent of the Carreau du Temple market, covered passageways, an art gallery and the Library of the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers. This new space offers travelers a unique hospitality experience that is strongly redolent of Paris.

Diverse cultural offerings throughout the year

In 2024, Paris Aéroport continued its ambition of making Paris’s airports a true center of culture, lifestyle and design, reflecting the city’s wealth of cultural resources. In each of our terminals, passengers can find exhibitions and cultural highlights created in collaboration with nearly a dozen cultural institutions and more than fifteen multidisciplinary artists, as well as a museum located in Terminal 2E, Hall M of Paris-Charles de Gaulle. Paris Aéroport promotes artistic creation in all its forms.

Easy access to Paris-Orly airport

In June 2024, access to Paris-Orly airport was transformed with the arrival of Metro line 14. Passengers can now reach the center of Paris in less than 20 minutes, for added predictability, speed and peace of mind. The Orly station on line 14 is only a few steps from Orly 3 and baggage check-in for passengers. Moreover, a unique new drop-off zone provides for easier, smoother access by car.

"By making the new Paris Aéroport website the ideal travel companion for passengers, by ensuring travelers can access Paris-Orly airport in 20 minutes via Metro line 14 and by offering unique departure lounge services thanks to Extime, we have all the assets to become a world leader in hospitality."
