Hospitality: How our hubs achieve excellence

Groupe ADP airports shone once again at the 2026 Skytrax World Airport Awards. Against a backdrop of intensifying competition among major European airports, the improved ranking of Paris-region hubs confirms the status of Paris as one of the world’s major gateways. Internally, the improved rankings of the network’s airports demonstrates the effectiveness of the Group’s strategy in the areas of customer service and hospitality.

Groupe ADP airports on the path to excellence

The welcome and the perceived quality of service upon arrival in a region partly shape a destination’s overall image, and this is especially true for airports, which serve not only as gateways but also as social hubs. Based on votes from millions of passengers worldwide, following surveys that scrutinize every aspect of the passenger journey, the annual Skytrax World Airport Awards provide a precise measure of how passengers perceive their airport experience.

The 2026 rankings reflect the continued progress made by the group’s airports. Ranked “best European airport” for the fifth consecutive year, Paris-Charles de Gaulle has moved up one spot in the global rankings, becoming the 6th best airport in the world.

Paris-Orly retains its title as “Europe’s best regional airport” and ranks 34th worldwide.

10 airports
in Groupe ADP, two more than in 2025, ranked in the top 100 worldwide
  • Paris-Charles de Gaulle (France): 6th
  • Delhi (India): 28th
  • Paris-Orly (France): 34th
  • Hyderabad (India): 43rd
  • Medina (Saudi Arabia): 50th
  • Goa (India): 64th
  • Santiago (Chile): 83rd
  • Almaty (Kazakhstan): 89th
  • Ankara (Türkiye): 92nd
  • Amman (Jordan): 97th

Some airports have made remarkable progress. In India, Delhi, ranked 32nd in 2025, has climbed to 28th place and earned the title of “Best Regional Airport in India and South-East Asia”, while Hyderabad and Goa have jumped to 43rd (up 13 places) and 64th (up 16 places) respectively in the global rankings. Almaty (Kazakhstan) and Amman (Jordan) have entered the top 100, meaning that the Groupe ADP network now has 10 airports out of the world’s top 100.

A recognized approach to continuous improvement

Maintaining or improving Skytrax rankings is the result of a constant collective commitment and the daily attention paid by all Groupe ADP teams to every aspect of the passenger experience: cleanliness of public areas, power outlets at seats, meeting the needs of families and people with disabilities, quality of signage, retail and dining options, deployment of new equipment at security checkpoints, etc.

But the strong performance in 2025-2026 is also linked to key achievements and initiatives that shaped 2025:

1/ Culture: our signature way to say hello and goodbye

Brought to life in departure lounges with exceptional designs, conceived as memorable and unique experiences of Parisian elegance, culture enables the airport to capitalize on the Parisian DNA of Paris-Charles de Gaulle. The Paris est une fête design in the international departure lounge of Terminal 1 is thus regarded as a global benchmark.

2/ 2027, toward a multi-modal platform

2027 promises to be a minor revolution for passenger experience at Paris-Charles de Gaulle, with the launch of the CDG Express in March 2027 and the project to rename all the terminals, launched in 2025. This major project will culminate in a major overhaul on March 16, 2027, simplifying the passenger journey by using a single number for each terminal and a single letter for each boarding gate.

3/ An industrial project for 2034

In 2025, Groupe ADP announced its proposal for a new economic regulation agreement for 2027–2034, with a record investment of €8.4 billion aimed at successfully transforming Paris airports and strengthening their competitiveness. The first phase of this industrial project aims to improve the passenger experience, to create more space at key points along the journey – for example, by providing more space and additional border control stations at Terminal 1 and Terminal 2E at Paris-Charles de Gaulle, as well as at Orly 4.

"25% of foreign tourists visiting Paris pass through our airports, and we want to support them well beyond their airport experience. The upcoming launch of the CDG Express will allow us to understand the passenger experience in greater depth and position ourselves to better assist tourists. Our Extime brand is already in operation in the airport at key points in the customer service experience. It will expand geographically to include Paris, through Extime Travel, to offer premium tourist experiences: sightseeing tours, cruises on the Seine, and bus tours."
