Culture at the heart of our terminals
Groupe ADP offers unique cultural experiences to passengers from around the world upon their arrival, to make art a part of their journey as well.

Art is part of the journey at Paris Aéroport
Paris Aéroport offers unique cultural experiences to passengers from around the world, ensuring that art and culture are an integral part of the journey, in a variety of formats and through diverse forms of expression.
Centered around two main themes – promoting French cultural heritage and supporting French creativity – the cultural program in Paris airports typically includes two major exhibitions per year in the Espace Musée in Hall M of Paris-Charles de Gaulle Terminal 2E, numerous exhibitions in the arrival concourses, special events, and permanent installations.
Leading partnerships with the most prestigious cultural institutions
In 2025, Paris Aéroport continued and expanded its strategy of cultural partnerships with a dozen French institutions, primarily museums, including the Musée d’Orsay, the Musée du Quai Branly – Jacques Chirac, and the Palace of Versailles. Paris Aéroport works with them to create original stage designs for constantly changing exhibitions, crafted to surprise passengers, move them, and spark their curiosity.
At Paris-Charles de Gaulle, the exhibition Escales singulières (see photo), presented in collaboration with the Louvre Museum in Hall M of Terminal 2E, immerses passengers in the iconic spaces of the Louvre Palace through a series of monumental photographs.

The giant mural created by Pangea in support of the environmental transition
At Paris-Orly, a giant mural entitled Un autre aéroport se dessine: 2022-2025, created by the duo of young French artists Pangea, adorns the facade of Orly 4, stretching over 1 km.
With a style that blends abstract and figurative art, this mural reflects the commitments made in favor of the environmental transition and highlights biodiversity and humanity. As the environmental plan progresses, the squares on the mural are gradually filled with lively colors.

With DJ Snake, Paris Aéroport is magical!
On November 6, 2025, DJ Snake, the famous electronic music composer and producer, chose to exclusively unveil his new album, NOMAD, inside a historic hangar at Paris-Le Bourget Airport. After arriving on board his private jet, the artist took to the turntables to deliver an electrifying performance in front of more than 2,500 fans who had gathered for the occasion.

La Caverne du Pont-Neuf with the artist JR
From June 6 to 28, 2026, La Caverne du Pont-Neuf, a monumental work conceived by artist JR, will pay tribute to Christo and Jeanne-Claude by transforming the Pont Neuf, the oldest bridge in Paris, into a temporary cavern.
As part of this project, JR and his team installed a 15-meter-tall prototype in the hangars at Paris-Orly in February 2026 to test all the technical and artistic components of the work, including the structure, cladding, lighting, and sound, under optimal conditions. And while the work is on display in Paris, Paris Aéroport will also offer passengers unique experiences right inside its airports.

Three exhibitions celebrating contemporary art
Paris Aéroport places a strong emphasis on contemporary art by inviting artists to offer a unique perspective on Paris.
At Paris-Charles de Gaulle, three new exhibitions were presented to passengers in Terminal 1 in 2025: photographer Paul Second explored the rooftops of Paris and their unexpected perspectives; painter Yukiko Noritake offered a sensitive and poetic vision of the capital; while illustrator Serge Bloch created a character with a red suitcase wandering through an eternal Paris (see photo) as a playful nod to passengers.

A “traveling banana” to catch passengers’ attention
On January 24, 2026, a yellow banana taped to a wall in Terminal 2F at Paris-Charles de Gaulle caught everyone’s attention. This pop-up installation, La banane voyageuse, reimagines Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan’s duct-taped banana and is part of a campaign designed by Paris Aéroport to spark passengers’ curiosity and elicit reactions, which are captured on video.
Through this nod to daring art, Paris Aéroport reinforces a firm belief: art should appear where you least expect it, and that is certainly the case in the airports of Paris.
« L’Air », a masterpiece by Aristide Maillol, on display at Paris-Charles de Gaulle
From January 23 to May 31, 2026, the Paris Aéroport Espace Musée, located in Hall M of Paris-Charles de Gaulle Terminal 2E, is hosting the exhibition Maillol – L’Air comme une sculpture in collaboration with the Dina Vierny Foundation – Maillol Museum.
In addition, and for the first time, L’Air, the iconic work by painter, ceramicist, and sculptor Aristide Maillol – which usually adorns the Jardin du Carrousel at the Louvre in Paris – will be on display from February 27 to June 29, 2026, in the heart of the airport, on the platform of the LISA shuttle connecting Halls K, L and M of Terminal 2E.

Asterix and Obelix host a banquet at Paris-OrlyX!
On October 24, 2025, Paris-Orly became “OrlyX” for the duration of a banquet held to celebrate the release of the 41st album in the adventures of the indomitable Gaul, Asterix in Lusitania, and the 80th anniversary of Groupe ADP. Nearly 250 guests of all ages, mostly local residents living near the airport, celebrated inside a terminal redecorated in the colors of the Asterix universe. It was a festive and inclusive event featuring immersive activities, traditional dishes, and a surprise musical performance by Philippe Katerine as the bard Cacofonix.
Through this event, Groupe ADP reaffirmed its deep roots in France and its commitment to transforming its airports into vibrant, experiential spaces where popular culture and hospitality come together.

A first encounter with Matisse, right at the airport
To mark the Matisse 1941–1954 exhibition, on view at the Grand Palais from March 24 to July 26, 2026, Paris Aéroport is partnering with the Centre Pompidou to offer passengers their first opportunity to encounter the work of Henri Matisse in its Paris airport terminals.
At Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly airports, exhibitions showcase ten of the artist’s iconic works through large-format reproductions displayed along passenger walkways. An invitation to plunge into Matisse’s colorful, graphic world and discover some of his works before seeing them for real at the Grand Palais.
